How It All Began

Back in 1992 while working at Andersen Consulting and using experience gained on projects with JCPenney , David Johnson found that the uniform retailer was missing a comprehensive inventory control system that was easy to use and tailored to their daily operations. With the help of a cousin's store in Nashville and a strong multi-store retailer in Dallas, The Uniform Solution was born out of a vision to create a simple, easy-to-use software program that would make retail uniform stores more productive, informed, and profitable.

Today The Uniform Solution is the backbone of some of the most successful uniform stores in the country. It provides automated point-of-sale, special order entry, purchase ordering, bar coding, price tag printing, invoicing, contract pricing, physical inventories, accounts receivable, and an integrated WebStore.
