Meet Our Team
David Johnson is the president of Diamond Data Systems and the key architect of The Uniform Solution – the uniform industry’s leading software solution for retailers. David started his career with Texas Instruments working as an Industrial Engineer and gained software development experience while working for Andersen Consulting. In 1992, with a desire to create his own company and family with a retail uniform business in Nashville, David began creating a software program for uniform retailers that has become the foundation for his company.
Since 1993 The Uniform Solution has been leading the industry with key innovations that have made the uniform retailer more productive, efficient, and informed. Today The Uniform Solution is installed in more than 1000 locations, supports multi-store retailers with 20+ locations, provides a WebStore so retailers can easily sell on-line, and connects with the systems at major uniform vendors to simplify product maintenance, provide electronic ordering, and to expedite merchandise receipt.
David is married to Erica and they have 4 boys. In his free time, David enjoys coaching, playing tennis, water sports, and gardening.
