Pre-Loaded Inventory
The Uniform Solution has over 250,000 inventory items from major uniform vendors that are maintained in the Vendor Catalog. When you start using The Uniform Solution, you won't spend weeks inputting your inventory. Simply copy the pre-loaded inventory items, set the retail price using a formula, then scan the UPC barcodes on the items in your store. When you are done, you will have an accurate inventory count, new price tags, and the ability to track your sales for each inventory item you set up.

We have pre-loaded inventory for all uniform industries. If you carry a large number of products from a vendor not found in our Vendor Catalog, the vendor can provide their product listing in a file formatted so it can be imported into your Inventory List.

Creating an online store to sell items you have in your retail store just couldn’t be any easier. The Uniform Solution includes an integrated WebStore that operates seamlessly with The Uniform Solution and enables you to have both a retail store and an online store that are one in the same.
In the Uniform Solution, a WebStore Setup Wizard will guide you through the process of setting up a fully functional WebStore in just a few minutes. After making a few selections like the items and departments to include, you’ll be ready to launch your online store where you can easily manage your WebStore orders in The Uniform Solution.

Microsoft SQL Server provides a robust, reliable, and scalable database for The Uniform Solution. With Microsoft SQL Server you can be assured that your data will remain secure and reliable while having the ability to scale to almost any size operation. The Uniform Solution includes and installs Microsoft SQL Server Express 2012 by default, but you have the option to purchase and install Microsoft SQL Server Standard 2012 if you would like enhanced performance or have more than 20 locations.
Process Credit, Debit and Gift Cards
The Uniform Solution integrates with ChargeItPro Technology to easily process credit, debit, and gift cards in your retail store and your eCommerce site.
The Uniform Solution’s implementation of ChargeItPro meets all PCI compliance requirements and even removes The Uniform Solution out of the scope of PCI because no credit card data is ever stored on your LAN. Both processors use tokenization and an offsite gateway to keep your customers cardholder data completely secure.
Requirements and Hardware Support
The Uniform Solution requires a 64 or 32-bit Microsoft Windows operating system. Computers that act as the server must have Windows 7 or newer (desktop OS) or Windows Server 2012 or newer (Server OS) to work with Microsoft SQL Server.

Scan barcodes for fast checkouts, physical inventories, and merchandise receipt. Keyboard, USB, and serial interfaces supported. Portable scanners must send a barcode and carriage return (quantity optional).
Receipt Printers
Provide professional quality customer receipts. 40 column printers with serial, parallel, and USB interfaces are supported.
Cash Drawers
Automatically open when taking payments. Receipt, serial, and parallel interfaces are supported
Tag Printers
Print barcoded price tags. All Inkjet and Laser printers with a Windows Print Driver are supported. Zebra thermal transfer printers are the easiest to use and provide the best quality tags and labels.
Pole Displays
Displays sales information during the checkout process. Requires a 2 line, 20-character display using Ultimate Technology’s emulation.
X-Charge
Process credit, debit, and gift cards easily – swipe reader and VeriFone 1000 pin pad required. 2 to 3 second approval with broadband Internet access. Requires processing with Global Payments.
